Nutrition Counseling for Performance
& Sports in Pennsylvania

For women who train in real life.

Are you active but still feeling low energy?

If you are training consistently but still dealing with low energy, slow recovery, or the sense that something is off, then it may be time to look into nutrition support. Most performance nutrition advice wasn’t built for women’s bodies, changing hormones, or lives that include all the things that women do.

With supportive nutrition, fueling can become clearer, steadier, and a whole lot more helpful as you work towards your fitness goals!

Imagine if your training felt fueled instead of forced?

During our nutrition counseling sessions, we will cover topics like:
  • Fueling before workouts to ensure adequate energy that’ll keep you feeling better, longer
  • Eating enough in general to support training, hormones, and daily life
  • Recognizing signs of under-fueling and low energy availability
  • Foods that will support recovery for reduced fatigue and taking care of your body
  • Adjusting nutrition for changing schedules, stress, and different training seasons

Return to Questions

How is performance nutrition different for women?

Performance nutrition for women considers hormonal fluctuations, higher risk of under-fueling, and changing needs across life stages like pregnancy and menopause. A personalized approach helps support performance, recovery, and long-term health, so fueling works with your body, not against it.

Return to Questions

Can I work on performance nutrition without tracking macros and dieting?

Yes. Performance nutrition can be built without tracking macros or following a diet by focusing on consistent fueling, balanced meals, timing around training, and listening to your body’s needs.

Return to Questions

Can you support postpartum and breastfeeding athletes?

Not only is this something we can do, but this is our specialty!

Return to Questions

How can you tell if you’re underfueling?

You may be underfueling if you notice low energy, frequent fatigue, poor workout performance, slow recovery, missed or irregular periods, frequent injuries, constant hunger, or difficulty concentrating. Over time, underfueling can also affect hormones, bone health, mood, and immune function.
