HOW TO MAKE HABITS STICK

Habit stacking is like multitasking for your routines. It involves integrating new habits into existing ones by piggy-backing on activities you already do consistently. It’s like creating a chain of habits that become linked together. For example, if you have a habit of making coffee each morning, you could stack a new habit like drinking a glass of water.

IN SEASON PRODUCE GUIDE

This list is short compared to other months because these fruits and vegetables are in season in Southeastern PA in January. If you are not in SE PA, refer to the website below to see what is locally grown in your area. I provide this seasonal produce guide every month because it is interesting to know what is grown in your area based on the season. I have an embarrassing story. I was probably 25 years old and new to adulting. I was at Trader Joe’s and asked one of the very friendly employees where the spaghetti squash was. It was April. So spaghetti squash was far from being harvested. He kindly said that was not available since it was not in-season. Fast forward a decade, and I am proud to say I know (most of the time) what is in-season. This is not to say I only buy locally grown produce because I buy produce grown in Mexico or elsewhere. This is simply a guide. Below, you will find some seasonal recipes.
